The importance of this is that ascending your unit unlocks new skills and passives making them stronger. They also get large stat increases. Ascension requires copies of the character either through summoning, or by the purchase of memory crystals in the Shop.
Ascending Allies
You may either combine shards obtained through summons, or buy shards with Memory Crystals in the Mojo Mart to ascend allies.
Fragments
- Fragments are obtained when summoning. Either you will obtain a Fragment for a lower rarity unit randomly, or, if you already own the unit, you will gain 30 Fragments of that character. You need a certain number of fragments to Ascend each level.
- 1 → 2: 30 Fragments
- 2 → 3: 60 Fragments
- 3 → 4: 90 Fragments
- 4 → 5: 90 Fragments
- SSR Fragments can be bought in the Shop's Special tab. The first 30 you buy will be discounted to 30 Memory Crystals, and any subsequent purchases will cost 60.
Memory Crystal
- Used to purchase Fragments of a character for ascension. They are obtained via summoning or through Intimacy Room 4 rewards for SR and below rarity units.
- Five (5) Memory Crystals will be given per contract summon unless otherwise indicated. If you have already gained enough Fragments to fully Ascend a character, those will also be turned into Memory Crystals as follows:
- N Rarity: 5 for shards, 10 for a unit
- R Rarity: 5 for shards, 10 for a unit
- SR Rarity: 10 for shards, 40 for a unit
- SSR Rarity: 90 for a unit
Crystal Core
- Used for 5★ SR and SSR ascensions. These can be obtained in events or through the Shop with Sorcery Gems or Ecoins.
- Two Crystal Cores are required to 5★ an SSR, and one is required to 5★ an SR.
