Divergent Dream

From NU: Carnival Guides
Divergent Dream
January 02, 2025 - January 23, 2025
Event Allies:
Unfathomable Confusion Eiden

Track - 01: "Dazzling Magic"

Slime Enemies

  • Light Element Mysterious Trick Eiden (36,672 HP)

Allies Team Recommendations

  • Something that heals. Guardians aren't needed here.

Deed Stage Tips

When Eiden uses Find the Rabbit, all party allies must guard to avoid the high damage that follows.

Pay attention to when you use Ultimate skills. When Eiden uses Confusing Trick, all party allies must perform strong attacks to play along with the show. When guessing the Disappearing Coin, pay attention to status hints. All party allies must use Basic Attack to find the coin.

When Eiden uses Final Salute, all party allies can use any action to show their respect to Eiden.

  • You must win in 21 turns or the party will be wiped.
  • On turn 1: Everyone will begin with full ultimate skills. However, you will do 75% less damage with them for 2 turns, so save them!
  • On turn 2: Guard with all 5 party members. You must actively guard too, even if you have a guardian!
  • End of turn 2: Eiden will use a strong ultimate on the party.
  • On turn 4: Use your ultimates with all 5 members to reduce Eiden's attack!
  • End of turn 4: Eiden will use a strong ultimate on the party.
  • On turn 6: Use a basic attack with all 5 members to grant your party a shield.
  • End of turn 6: Eiden will use a strong ultimate on the party.
  • The above will loop on turn 8, so begin guarding again that turn.
  • When Eiden reaches 5% HP, you can do anything you want. He'll vanish the following turn.

Divergent Dream : Track - 02: "Booth Battle"

Slime Enemies

  • Dark Element Deliberately Impolite Patron (146,782 HP)

Allies Team Recommendations

  • A guardian in any slot other than 3. If this one can taunt every turn, even better!
  • A high HP quick ultimate user in slot 3.
  • Yes, bleed is actually good here too.

Deed Stage Tips

The ally in the center position must guard as much as possible to protect his own safety.

When the patron uses Suspicious Invitation, all party allies must guard to avoid being trapped. When the patron uses Difficult Demand, the ally in the center position must use a strong attack to satisfy the patron. During Best Support in certain turns, the <Guardian> must use Taunt to avoid being unable to bear the patron's subsequent wrath.

Also, when the patron's gaze is drawn by other allies, attack at the appropriate time.

  • Note every attack you do will cause the enemy to hit slot 3, so things like turn-by-turn (bleed) damage and counter abilities are actually useful here. You can also bring a guardian to taunt the damage away at the beginning of each turn and just heal it after.
  • On turn 1: Slot 3 will be granted a shield, which must be kept or else your entire party will be wiped. GUARD WITH SLOT 3 FIRST each turn unless otherwise noted.
  • End of turn 1: The enemy will cast turn-by-turn damage on the party.
  • On turn 2: Guard with everyone to remove the turn-by-turn damage.
  • On turn 4: If your guardian is 3 turns/on attack taunt, taunt with your guardian here.
  • End of turn 4: The enemy will attack slot 3.
  • On turn 6: Use an ultimate with slot 3.
  • End of turn 6: Everyone but slot 3 will be attacked.
  • On turn 7: Taunt with a guardian here.
  • End of turn 7: The enemy will attack slot 3.
  • The above loops at the end of turn 8, so you want to guard everyone on turn 9 and so on.

Track - 03: "Break the Looping Dream"

Slime Enemies

  • Fire Element Enchanting Illusion Crystal Ball (397,871 HP)

Allies Team Recommendations

  • Put high HP units in slots 1/5, and your lowest in slot 3.
  • Lower cooldown ultimate users should be brought.

Deed Stage Tips

When the crystal ball uses Foretold Future, the allies on the outside must guard to protect the allies on the two sides of the center, while the allies on the two sides of the center can choose to attack. During Unstable Essence in certain turns, all party allies must use strong attacks to avoid bearing the consequences of the essence burst.

  • No one can die or you'll lose the battle.
  • Every attack will make you do -2.5% damage, so keep it in mind and potentially save your attacks for ultimates only.
  • On turn 3: Guard with slots 1 and 5, and be sure to attack with slots 2 and 4.
  • End of turn 3: All but slot 3 will be hit with damage this turn.
  • End of turn 4: The enemy will heal for 12.5% HP.
  • On turn 6: Use 5 ultimates to lower the enemy's attack.
  • End of turn 6: A strong ultimate will be used on the whole party.
  • The above will loop on turn 8, so guard slots 1 and 5 again here.
