Another restless day in Klein has begun! With the gemstone envoys full of energy and out on patrol, the left behind Morphy is lying in the sun by the window.

"Hmm, what should Morphy do..."

Adventure time~ I wonder if there's any treasure hidden in this luxurious mansion.
It's boring no matter where you go. I'll just take a nap... *yawn*...
Such amazing weather, why not go to the garden to bathe in the sun?

Just then, the door is suddenly pushed open... Oh no, a maid enters to change the sheets! A professional maid who won't leave a single speck of dust in the mansion untouched is bound to discover a speck as big as Morph!

Dodging around, Morph finally makes it out of the room and into the quiet garden. Just as he wants to look for a place to rest, he hears a monster's growl...

Arriving at the bustling market, Morph hides in a chest and checks out his surroundings. The passersby are engaged in discussion: "... They're back! Wearing those shiny clothes and swinging those wands at people..."

Ha, they must be talking about the gemstone envoys. Morphy knows~

Morph flies in the direction the passersby mentioned and collides with a middle-aged man carrying a bug catching net. The man brandishes the net while yelling: "*sob*—My Never Look Back II flew off—"

Never Look Back II? That's such a cool name, I should praise the guy's taste.

After nearly having his life shaking out of him, Morph manages to escape. The world outside really is too scary. Morph starts to miss his cozy nest, but the stammering behind him continues...

At the plaza, a group of men are singing and dancing. Full of vigor, they jump high, their flapping clothes and sweat drawing the eyes of the crowd.

"La la la~ La la~ Beauty is our original sin~"

Their smiles aren't sweet enough and their voices aren't steady enough. They're nowhere near as cute as Morphy's gemstone envoys.
I guess I was wrong... But they do shine. Morphy likes that. ♡
They're just too enchanting. Morphy's little wings are secretly flapping along with the music.

Something seems to glitter among the flowers in the distance. Morph confidently flies over and discovers a pink beetle, its sturdy shell reflecting the light of the sun.

Perhaps this world has always been full of evil, just like how Midnight Amethyst always treats Morph in the worst possible way... Dejected and in need of quiet, Morph flies into a tree. But a strange purple creature sits down next to Morph.

Hmph, Morphy's in a bad mood. I'll give that purple creature's tail a good stomping.
No matter where I go, that purple creature keeps following me. Does it like Morphy?

The sun has gone down, the evening wind is getting cooler. As the lights go on indoors, the streets are nearly abandoned. Morph, out alone in the dark, can feel the desolation.

I can't do anything without the gemstone envoys by my side...

Despite seeing the mansion's gate not far ahead, Morph doesn't sigh with relief. He thinks back to today's walk. Whether laughing or crying, everyone is doing their best to survive. But if the shadow fragments aren't extracted and purified...

Lemme think, what do humans usually do at a time like this...? Right, let's have a "meeting" first!

A dark cloud hides the moon. Morph feels flustered all of a sudden and beats his wings to go forward, but suddenly crashes into a wall! Shaking his furry head wondering where the wall came from, he discovers his surroundings have fallen into a darkness devoid of all light.

"Do you know what will happen if you spend a long time in the darkness?"

The mysterious voice is half indolent, half bemused. Yet Morph is unable to tell where it comes from... No, even his most basic sense of distance is gone... Morph begins to hesitate whether he truly lives here.

"Shh... Just hold on a little longer. Let me see how you will disgrace yourself."

It's said that Morph spent the entire night flying around the mansion unconsciously, finally lying down for three days and nights.

Snow-White Diamond's Spirit

The moon hangs high, when suddenly a black shape appears in the night sky, its contours outlining a slender figure and nimble wings that catch Morph's attention. Captivated, he chases after the shape, coming across many people fast asleep on the side of the road.

"Let's give everyone back their shiny white hearts~ Ah! Don't fight, mister!"

Morph watches the figure swagger off once more. Touched by the figure's spirit as he stays up all night to help people, Morph decides to loudly proclaim his own true feelings…

"Snow-White Diamond, slow down! Morphy can't keep up! Come back!"

Leaping Moonlight's Speed

Soft footsteps sound behind Morph. He turns and discovers it's the wolf yokai back from shopping. Morph tells him about his difficult day, feeling sadder the more he says, until he finally grabs the wolf yokai by the clothes to wipe away his tears.

"Though I can't extract fragments, with your intel, Morphy, I can quickly inform the others to help."

The wolf yokai lets Morph sit on his shoulder and begins to stretch to warm up.

"I can run real fast. Hold on tight, Morphy!"

The wolf yokai runs so fast Morph is worried his soft fur is about to be blown off... Maybe it was a mistake to go out today.

Glittering Neon's Splendor

Morph follows the growling to the source and arrives in a dark alley. But within the darkness, there is a light not inferior to that of the stars, decorating the figures before him.

"Darling~ I have him pinned down. Take your time recovering the fragment!"

"Master, wait! There's a beetle on your clothes... I'll grab it!"

"Thanks. I'll—hngh—extract the fragment immediately—"

"Hehe, truly a chaotic sight."

Their voices can be heard in the streets, but there are no dissenting sounds coming from any of the houses. When the white light of the extracted fragment subsides, a pure heart floats in the air.
