Yokai Frenzy - 01 "Welcome to Chef Kuma's!"
Enemies
Enraged Chef Kuma (6,875)
Vigilant Sparrow Yokai (2,311)
Jubilant Dove Yokai (2,134)
Jubilant Dove Yokai (2,134)
Jubilant Dove Yokai (2,134)
Team Recommendations
- 1 Healer, 2~3 DPS, 1 Support
- AOE DPS such as (R-SR) Blade or (R-SSR) Garu is recommended
- Optional: R-SR Kuya for healing reduction to counter Chef Kuma's healing properties
Stage Tips
- All enemies will gain +5% ATK every turn and will stack for a max of 50. Do not delay the battle for too long
- On the 1st turn, Sparrow Yokai will immediately shorten its skill cooldown by 3 to apply taunt and Chef Kuma will enter a charging state.
- Taunt: Locked out of being able to attack anyone else but that unit.
- Every 3 turns Sparrow Yokai will taunt your team.
- Attack Chef Kuma when he's charging before 2 turns past or it's an instant team wipe out.
- Attacking him during a charging state will stun him for that turn.
- Turn 6 Chef Kuma will target slot 2, 3 and 4 doing skill damage and silencing those slots for a turn.
- Silence: Unable to use ultimate skills and passive skills are nullified.
- Turn 10 Chef Kuma will heal a large portion of health to the whole team.
- It's also noted that he'll buff the whole team by giving +50% dmg increase for the rest of the fight.
- When Chef Kuma uses the skill "Chow Time!" he'll apply a debuff that'll allow your allies to do +100% ultimate skill damage for that turn.
- The main strategy here is to focus on killing Chef Kuma as fast as possible, the bird yokai aren't much of a problem comparatively.
Yokai Frenzy - 02 "Night of a Thousand Yokai"
Enemies
Elated Old Monkey (20,810 HP)
Excitable Sparrow Yokai (7,817 HP)
Frenzied Dove Yokai (8,625 HP)
Endless Banquet Garu (19,044 HP)
Team Recommendations
- 1 Healer, 2~3 DPS, 1 Support
- Single-target DPS is recommended
- Use a double healer team if you are lacking HP
Stage Tips
- All enemies will take no damage on the 1st turn, either guard or set up any passives your units may have.
- On turn 2 all allies and enemies will receive a debuff that will deal recoil damage when attacking (including healing and buffing) for 10 turns.
- Recoil damage: Receive damage when you do an action.
- Guard is not affected by this.
- On turn 3 Old Monkey will apply a shield to all enemy units (+1,394 shield) and Sparrow Yokai will apply damage reduction to enemy units.
- Taunt: Locked out of being able to attack anyone else but that unit.
- Damage reduction lasts only a turn.
- Shield lasts for 2 turns or when recoil damage removes shield.
- Old Monkey will rotate every 2 turns
- Sparrow Yokai will rotate every 2 turns
- At the end of turn 4 Garu will do a skill damage team attack (AoE) if you feel like you won't be able to take it guard your team.
- Turn 5 Dove Yokai will do a strong paralysis attack that will last for 2 turns.
- Paralysis: Unit is unable to take any action.
- When the old man monkey is at 50% HP (10,405) he will flee thus starting phase 2.
- The bird yokai will get a +50% dmg increase for the remainder of the fight.
- When phase 2 starts Garu will heal your entire team, and attack the entire enemy team including himself.
- The bird yokai will start attacking Garu instead of your team (except on specific ult attacks).
- The main strategy here is to focus on killing the monkey as fast as possible. Having a strong healer for this stage is integral for survival.
- When phase 2 starts prioritize Sparrow Yokai first, Dove Yokai will counter attack all attacks. When combined with recoil damage this hurts immensely.
- There is no consequence to Garu dying from you, he'll depart from the battle if all yokai is dead and he is alive.
Yokai Frenzy - 03 "A Problem Called Tanuki"
Enemies
Attention Seeking Tanuki (25,873 HP)
Kitsune Dream Kuya (35,237 HP)
Team Recommendations
- 1 Healer, 2~3 DPS, 1 Support
- Single-target DPS is recommended
Stage Tips
- Kuya is your only target for this fight.
- The main strategy here is to focus on Kuya only. This stage is a damage check so meeting these HP thresholds ASAP is integral for completion.
- Tanuki receives -500% damage so targeting it is wasteful.
- Kuya will apply bleed to slot 1, 3 and 5 that will stack over time (duration independent).
- This is also true for his ultimate attack every 4 turns.
- The tanuki will do an area attack when Kuya reaches 75% HP (26,427). Guard your team if you're unsure of survival.
- You must reach 50% (17,618) on Kuya before the end of turn 5.
- If this requirement is not met in time, the tanuki will apply a debuff to your whole team that'll inflict guaranteed paralysis when any move is made including guard. This paralysis lasts for 2 turns.
- Paralysis: Unit is unable to take any action.
- When you reach 50% (17,618) the tanuki will attack Kuya, who will nuke remove the tanuki from the fight.
- At 25% HP Kuya will apply a +25% atk boost to himself and reduce damage he receives by 25%.
- Note: The fight will effectively "bug" itself when HP thresholds are skipped too quickly, or certain battle quotes are not activated. If Kuya cannot remove the tanuki from the fight the battle becomes indefinite.
